The Helen Gee Chin Scholarship Foundation was formed in 2011, in memory of Sifu Calvin Chin’s beloved wife and administrator of the Academy for 15 years, who passed away after a brief battle with cancer. It was an opportunity to take a terrible loss and turn it into something positive. The Foundation awards college scholarships to encourage academic achievement and motivate individuals to become serious practitioners of Chinese martial arts.

He went to car shows with his uncle who taught him how to respect the cars and efforts of those who were there. Kevin bought his first car, a 1993 300ZX, his sophomore year of high school.
